There are pictures of the house in Oley and the yard that make me smile. I am finding a lot of double negatives :( which make me sad. I wish I could refine those to be view-able. They are tantalizing in what might possibly be their subject matter; Lynne and Wilma, Daddy, Mama, among others. I posted the one of the porches on the house (from the side of the house that looked out toward Glaces) even though it was hard to sharpen, and I think Mama is standing on the top porch. I know it was strongly suggested that we not venture out onto the second story porch. I thought it was because the porch was not structurally sound, but knowing now how well preserved that house was, I think it might have been a way to keep us from dangerous places. We might have ventured too close to the railing and fallen over the side;0). Wonder where I get my phobia about height from....hmmm. Thinking about that second story porch, now, and the door leading out to it, and how wonderful a breeze you probably could catch on a hot summer day, I wish I had been braver and spent some time there.
As always, any comments and/or corrections are avidly sought. Just fill out the form below, and indicate, by number, which photo you are commenting on or correcting. Please include the Gallery number. I am very sure my dates are inaccurate; sometimes I put 1950's pics in the 1940's gallery. I am probably a year or two off on ages and dates. I have never been very good with age assessment;)
I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to my sister Virginia, aka Gim, for correcting some errors and adding to the fullness of some of the locations. I appreciate it, Gim, and I am sure everyone else does, too.

How silly putting the new pics at the bottom; if you have already seen the posted pictures you might just want to check out the new and bypass the old posts. So, consequently, I am going to post new pics at the top of the page. I am not going to change the Gallery numbers, however.
I have Barbara's permission to post pictures of her marriage to Bruce, and pictures of Bruce, although there are not many of Bruce. It was maybe Florida where they went on their honeymoon; it looked beautiful.
